Christmas at Bena Store!
We had a busy holiday season again, and thanks to our loyal customers, a successful one. We had two well-attended events for the children, a Santa Night and a Craft-Shopping night, as well as a full house for our Dec. 17 Poisoned Dwarf Christmas concert. At a mom-and-pop like ours, a few folks dedicated the principle of “keeping it local” can really buoy the business.

Poquoson artist Lee Abston recently completed “Bena Store in Winter,” in time for the holiday season in Guinea. Lee is the winner of the 2011 Guinea Jubilee art contest. His “Bena Store in Winter” is available for sale after Dec. 1, 2011 at $39.95 per limited-edition print.
Bena Music Series
The Bena Country Store regularly hosts original music from folk-Americana-bluegrass singer-songwriters. It’s always a good time for the whole family. Shows feature two 45-minute sets, beginning at 8 p.m. For ticket information, keep scrolling!
